Summer 2011 Meeting/Training

The summer training meeting will be held on June 29, 2011.

The agenda is (times approximate):

6/29 9am-11am: network coding
6/29 11am-noon, 1pm-2pm: basic coding functionality exercises
6/29 2pm-4pm: advanced functionality exercises
6/30 9am-noon: adding true shape
6/30 1pm-4pm: transit networks

The schedule on the 30th is modularized, so you only need to attend the parts in which you are interested.  The 29th is essentially highway network coding and checking.


The training will be at the ODOT central office, in room GB (basement).  You do not need a badge to go down to the basement, but you will need to tell the receptionist that you are going to the basement.

You need to bring your own laptop with Cube already installed.  Furthermore, you need to download 2 zip files below.  One has the Mansfield model which will be used on the 29th and 30th PM.  The second is the Springfield network that will be used on the 30th AM.

We will send the attendees any other training materials after the classes.  If anyone not attending the training session wants them, contact Rebekah and she will put you on the list.

ODOT has a cafeteria which will suffice for breakfast and lunch, although we reserve the right to go out for lunch if the group would like to do so.  (The cafeteria has starbucks.)

You will probably not have internet access from ODOT.
